Alumni are specialists in agricultural production technology, especially plant production technology, and have practical preparation for running an independent farm in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. They have basic biological, chemical, and ecological knowledge, knowledge of economics, organisation, and management of production and functioning of agricultural infrastructure. They are prepared to manage an agricultural holding and to take up employment in agricultural administration, services and consultancy.
He/she knows a foreign language at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of the Council of Europe and can use a specialist language in the field of agriculture. The student is prepared to work in governmental and self-governmental administration connected with administration related to agriculture, agricultural consultancy, companies dealing with purchase and trade of plant products, as well as for managing farms with horticulture and animal production departments. Graduates are prepared to undertake second degree studies.

Graduates of this specialisation are prepared to implement changes in the organisation of Polish agriculture. Alumni have a thorough knowledge of agribusiness, economic policy, and quality management, as well as marketing management skills. They are prepared to work in agribusiness companies, state and local government administration and local government administration and financial institutions, also in managerial positions.
Alumni have a broad technical knowledge of plant and animal production and economics and the organisation of agribusiness enterprises. They are familiar with the methods and techniques of consulting work. They know how to establish direct contact with farmers, provide assistance in determining individual directions of farm development, and acquire external sources of financing. They are competent to run their own business, work in agribusiness enterprises, state and local administration.
Graduates of this specialisation know the influence of agriculture on the environment and the circulation of elements in nature, nutrient management in different systems of agriculture, marketing, packaging, and using plant protection agents as well as the ability to shape the rural landscape. They are familiar with legal acts on environmental protection. The student is prepared to work in institutions related to agriculture and environmental protection, also in managerial positions.
This specialisation is recommended for students working or planning to work with milk production in the future. The student will be familiar with modern methods of milk collection and evaluation, current technologies and modernisation in cattle construction, the technology of cattle feed production. One of the elements of the MT in DCF specialisation is national and international internships in dairy farms.
The specialisation prepares graduates for independent and creative use of unconventional energy sources and management of waste occurring in agriculture and its environment. They can be employed in energy, waste management, or biomass production companies in agriculture and its surroundings.
